Troubling Over the Waters

<%image(20050603-simon and garfunkel.jpg|138|136|the funk)%> Julie’s record player (dating back to the late 70’s) has been churning out the tunes of Simon and Garfunkel’s album “Bridge Over Troubled Water”. While most of the record is pretty good (yet the Frank Lloyd Wright song does have to go), we discovered that Simon and Garfunkel bear a striking resemblance to Napoleon and Pedro from the simultaneously maligned and loved movie Napoleon Dynamite.

That’s right, one of the icons of so many Jr. High/elementary age students is modeled on an album from 1970. Maybe we’re seeing what we want, but check it out . . .
