<%image(April 2006 023.jpg|250|188|prospect rock)%> Spring is officially here and since we seem to have missed out on mud season, we can take advantage of the warm weather to hike on some old logging roads and trails that are at lower altitudes. One of my favorite hikes is Prospect Rock. It’s quite possibly one of the most rewarding hikes. You only have to walk uphill for a little over a mile and then you have an incredible view of the Northshire valley stretching from Equinox Mountain and the town of Manchester right up the valley to Dorset and Rupert. You can see right into New York State on a clear day. Fortunately, we had one, so here are my pictures from this past Monday.
