Ed

An imperfect and sometimes sarcastic perspective on following Jesus by Ed Cyzewski.

Snow Vigil, Day 12

What exactly marks the end of our snow drought? We’ve had flurries. We even had a little snow stick to the ground for an hour this morning. It quickly melted.

So what is the call? Is my snow vigil no longer necessary? Need I sigh and relax, knowing that the spell is broken and white splendor will soon cover the barren landscape?

I’m not so sure about that. I think I need to wait until we get some accumulation. Even if it’s only for a day, say a 24-hour period.

At this point it seems that asking for something I could, oh I don’t know, cross country ski in is a bit too much to ask.

Just a think layer on the ground. That’s all I want.

Snow is in the forecast, so keep I’m keeping my fingers crossed. ,
