Jordon posted a link to a great interview with theologian Kevin Vanhoozer. I agree with many of his points, especially this:

“The driving force of Christian theology is the God of the gospel. The subject matter of theology is intrinsically dramatic: God in his missionary movements (viz., Son and Spirit). It’s a matter of God saying and God doing the good for the world in Jesus Christ. Christianity is neither a system of ideas nor of morality but a way, a way of life.”
