I Need Your Help
I thought it would be awesome to have an informal gathering of nonprofit and church/synagogue leaders from our community to discuss possible partnerships and ways we can work together, as well as things that won’t work. I’m in the planning stages now, and I’m looking for ideas.
While I have a relative direction for this, I want to make sure I take full advantage of this gathering. There is no doubt in my mind that I’m missing out on some great questions to ask. So drop me a line and let me know what you think! Thanks!
I think this idea is excellent. I’ve been trying to think of ways to do this. I thought it would be cool to just read what our scriptures have to say about certain topics. We would just listen and discuss, but we wouldn’t necessarily condemn each other.

Thanks Evan. The trick is I’m bringing together nonprofits with the faith-based groups, so the idea is to get churches talking with the nonprofit leaders about partnerships. Though to follow up on your point, I do want to sit down with Rabbis and talk about how they interpret certain passages, especially Genesis. You don’t see any Jewish folks building creationist museums!
